Clay A. Bullwinkel
Co-Founder and Managing Member

Clay Bullwinkel brings 26 years of relationships with large and small technology industry leaders both in the U.S. and in Central and East Europe (CEE), including many with world-class design and engineering capabilities. 

He co-developed and distributed the world's first consumer electronics and computing products from a formerly socialist country into advanced markets, including with design influence on the iPod. He successfully led development, product management and marketing of PC and enterprise software, data networking products, and handheld systems for such companies as Hewlett Packard, 3Com, IBM, Microsoft and Intel.   Mr. Bullwinkel advised Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, Hewlett Packard, Samsung, Motorola, and Google on creating or expanding development centers in CEE.   He is co-Founder and a board member of the US-Polish Trade Council (USPTC).

He is fluent in English, intermediate in Polish and German, and basic with Hungarian and Russian languages. Mr. Bullwinkel holds a Stanford B.A. and M.B.A.   He is a frequent presenter and panel participant for topics focused on product development and global distribution of technology products.

Rafal Stroinski

Rafał Stroiński Esq.
 

Rafał Stroiński holds a Ph.D. in law from Warsaw University Law School, an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School, a master's honors degree from Warsaw University Law School and a master's degree in Iberian Studies from Warsaw University. During 2005-2006 Dr. Stroinski stayed at Stanford Law School as a Visiting Scholar, following his receipt of scholarships from the Fulbright Commission and the Foundation for Polish Science to carry out research on board member liability regulations.

He is admitted in New York State as Attorney and Counselor at Law and a Partner in CMS Cameron McKenna, a multinational law firm. He has more over 11 years of practice advising clients on private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance, in particular in the TMT sector.

Dr. Stroiński has been consistently listed in "Chambers Global - the World's Leading Lawyers for Business" (2004-2005 and 2006 editions) as one of the leading lawyers in the Corporate and M&A practice in Poland.  He is a board member of the US-Polish Trade Council (USPTC).

Dr. Stroiński is also an Associate Professor (Adiunkt) at Warsaw University Law School. His research focuses on Law and Economics and Comparative Law and in particular on board member liability regulations. He is fluent in English and Portuguese and has a working knowledge of Spanish.

 


 

Stan Lewandowski

Stan Lewandowski, Esq.

Stan Lewandowski is a transactional attorney working in the Silicon Valley office of K&L Gates LLP, a premier global law firm.  Mr. Lewandowski’s practice focuses on advising companies in the areas of business formation, corporate governance obligations, equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing and intellectual property protection.  Mr. Lewandowski regularly counsels international companies with respect to the formation and operation of their subsidiaries in the United States.  He is a board member of the US-Polish Trade Council (USPTC).

Mr. Lewandowski received his law degrees from UC Hastings College of the Law and the Nicolaus Copernicus University and diplomas from the University of Cambridge, British Centre for English and European Legal Studies, and the Jean Monnet Centre for European Studies.  Mr. Lewandowski is a founder, former chairman and chief executive officer, of the Polish-American Chamber of Commerce.

 

 

 

Andrzej Lubowski

Andrzej Lubowski is an economist and journalist based in California with frequent travel globally, especially to Europe.   He is an advisor to many companies and government agencies in the U.S. and Europe.   In the autumn of 2007 thorugh the publisher Bertlesmann Mr. Lubowski introduced his book "Kontuzjowane Mocarstwo" (Bruised Power).  

Previously Mr. Lubowski was a global strategy Vice President for Citibank and later for Visa.   He has masters degrees from the Warsaw School of Economics in Poland, as well as in the Journalism Department at Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from University of California at Berkeley.  

 

 

 

Wacek A. Slezak

Wacek Slezak is Founder of Advantage Europe Ltd.

Wacek returned to the UK in August 2004, after 26 years working in continental Europe, to establish his own business in Cambridge.  This company, Cambridge High Table Ltd., has worked with the retail food processing sector as well as with high technology companies in the Silicon Fen around Cambridge, introducing them to new markets including Poland.  He has also worked on a new investment initiative in Russia.

Starting in 1973 he began working for Kleinwort Benson Ltd his work has been based in Central Europe.  His banking and business development career involved extensive work in London, Vienna, Munich, Dusseldorf, and Warsaw, where he was the Poland Country Manager for Westdeutsche Landesbank, Bausparkasse Schwabisch Hall, and Union Investment of Frankfurt.

In 1971 Wacek received his BA with Honours in Central Europe Studies with Polish Language from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES).  He was awarded a British Council scholarship with which in 1971-72 he studied at the Warsaw School of Economics.
